Population Intelligence for Risk-Ready Futures: Geospatial Modelling for Rights-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Health Resilience (CPD59 Side Event).

This side event will highlight how technology, geo-spatial analytics and applied research can generate more precise and actionable demographic intelligence to reveal where risks are concentrated, which populations are most exposed, and where investments are most needed to reduce inequalities and strengthen preparedness. Bringing together perspectives from national institutions, regional actors, technical partners and applied research collaborations, the session will demonstrate how multi-hazard analysis can support more equitable disaster risk reduction, anticipatory action, and resilient service delivery, including the continuity of essential health and sexual and reproductive health services in crisis settings.
