Revealing the hidden generational economy: National Transfer Accounts (CPD59 Side Event).

This side event provides a strategic overview of National Transfer Accounts (NTA) and related extensions, including National Time Transfer Accounts (NTTA) and National Inclusion Accounts (NTAx), as decision-support tools for fiscal planning, social protection, and inclusive growth.

The event showcases how countries are implementing NTA and explores the policy insights gained regarding the respective roles of governments, families, and financial markets in meeting the needs of individuals throughout their life cycles. A panel of national experts from Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe will share experiences in constructing NTA and translating them into policy action.
